Monday Afternoon Bass Tournament Series

Rules

Location: B&B Marina Boat Ramp (click for directions)
When: Every Monday afternoon at 6:PM to 9:PM
Dates: May 3rd through August 30, 2010
Tournament type: Open Format

EXCEPTION: (The June 21 and August 30 are invitational tournaments)

Entry Fee:
$20.00 per boat.
$5.00 per boat big fish bonus.


Rules:

No Live Bait
No Gill Stringers
All boats must have a working live well.
Must obey all state boating laws. (including life jacket rules)
No hole sitting allowed.

3 fish limit.
Largemouth Bass 15"
Smallmouth Bass 18"
Spotted Bass 15"

NO DEAD FISH

All fish will be measured as deemed necessary by tournament officials.

BLAST OFF RULES:

Each boat will draw a blast off number at the sign-up. As your number is called you will idle by the assigned dock
with livewells open and running.  Once you are given the thumbs up you will idle to the assigned blast off bouy
and blast-off. (NO PASSING BEFORE BLAST OFF BOUY).


Protests and Complaints:

All protests and complaints must be filed before scales are closed. 

To file a protest or a complaint one of the Competition Committee members must be notified. The protest must not be filed on the condition of anonymity.  If you bring forth a protest you must be willing to state your case in front of the entire Competition Committee. The Competition Committee will hold all winnings and investigate the allegations.
Once the issue is resolved the monies will be distributed.

When the scales are closed and the tournament results are declared official, no protests may be filed.

A word of warning. Since a process is in place to handle disputes and protests we expect our anglers to utilize it. Failure to utilize this process to gain satisfaction is not an excuse to Participants that post on a website or make public allegations,demeaning remarks about the tournament, anglers or committee members. The Competition Committee reserves the right to refuse anyone entry in to this tournament pending a 2/3rds majority vote. Any participant participating in this type of behavior will be banned from the Invitational Tournaments and will not be allowed to fish any more open tournaments. Expulsion will be at the sole discretion and vote of the Competition Committee.

Weigh-in rules:

Place fish in a bag capable of holding water.
Do not dump fish in weigh basket. Take them out and place them in basket gently.
Step back and allow scale operator room to operate the scales.
Basket will removed from scale and you must lift out your own fish gently. The fish will not be dumped back in bag.
